The seemingly logical relationship described to us by Plato regarding students and teachers is one that currently pervades the news and media, causing us to beg further questioning:
• What is behind today’s epidemic of student-teacher relationships?
• Are these relationships healthy?
• Should they be legal?
• Does the gender of the student or teacher matter?
